Gary's career began in the 1960's. His first big gig was in the mid 60's working with top British singer Dusty Springfield. This was followed by the first of two stints with Brian Auger and Julie Driscoll (2 albums) which included tours of the UK, Europe and the USA.
Among his many collaborations, he has worked with Danny Thompson’s “Whatever”, folk/rock band Eclection (with Gerry Conway and the late Trevor Lucas), Bert Jansch, John Etheridge and Jim Mullen.
His six solo albums have received huge critical acclaim, “The Dancer” winning the Pop/Jazz Award at Montreaux Jazz Festival.
